Glow in the dark stones which is a synthetic aggregate, based on photoluminescent pigment and synthetic resin , and that glow without the need for batteries or, indeed,any electricity at all. When exposed to light sources, the photoluminescent pigment within glowing stone becomes chemically excited and will afterglow, initially very strongly, then reducing slowly overnight.
